ATTN: Getting close to 2.4

Hi people,

CVS HEAD has reached a point where we are very close to 2.4. At the
moment, there is only 1 blocker left (6616). The plan is that when that
bug is fixed, we'll release 2.4.0.

To prevent last minute fsckups, I'd propose not to commit anything
without posting a patch to the mailing list first for review. This of
course would only apply to patches that would make it into 2.4.0 builds,
so stuff like Franks's toolbar hackery are fine.
