Gnome strongly encourages clear labelling of buttons, which is the point
of view I was coming from.

The Vista guidelines half-heartedly encourage action buttons (right beside
a picture of a Yes No dialog in the examples I saw).

It is just good usability, not a platform issue anymore.

(Saw a dialog the other day asking "No more files? Yes/No". For shame.)
