Just to let you know, John,

AbiWord 2.6 on Windows has a bug in displaying e with caron (and maybe
some other eastern european characters) in the menus (it works
properly in the top menu title - File, ...., Help, but all other menu
choices under those titles have this problem. Instead e with grave (or
acute, I am not sure) is displayed, a character we do not have in our
alphabet. C with caron is properly displayed in the dialogs. It must
be a menu codepage issue of menu font issue.

This isn't working for Slovenian, but probably other Eastern European
languages have the same probem, maybe even with other special
characters that Slovenian doesn't use - Croatian, Czech, Polish,
Slovak, Serbian, etc. Users from those languages should double check
the status of their menu items!

If needed I can attach a screenshot.
