I also disagree. I find the non-modal dialog extremely useful for
copying foruma's to successive lines when developing proofs and
showing the working of a mathematical argument. Generally one makes
small changes from one line to the next so the ability or copy a
previous line into the dialog, reposition the carat and paste in the
latex makes this process far faster than other competing maths entry
technologies. It is far easier for me to use than either OO.o or MS
Word.
