That is the current/old documentation, and it is also shipped with the
AbiWord distribution.

The most recent work is being done here:

You really don't want to touch the old crap under ./trunk/ anymore. This
new documentation should be a lot more maintainable.

The new documentation is totally unfinished though, and currently
focusses on GNOME. For a cross-platform application this is
suboptimal :)
