One thing I see is that the line are "thick". That's because a .0
coordinate in Cairo is in the middle of two pixels.
I think that you should set a translation matrix of (+0.5, +0.5) for the
context (see cairo_translate) when you create the context.

Or maybe you already thought about it or something (I haven't looked at
the code).
