Hi Tim,

If you're successful in building a good site that we all like, I have
no objection to you using it in your portfolio at all. We're all Open
Source developers and we understand the value of reputation amongst
peers. We all like to get paid in recognition at least :-)

The current site has the virtue that is actually resides as a
subversion module. So what you come up with has to have at least that
flexibility and functionality. In addition we make numerous tweaks to
the site whenever we do a new release or someone does a nice review of
abiword.

We're close to making another large milestone release (version 2.8) so
it would be great to have a shiny new site to go along with that.

So as far as I'm concerned, go ahead, do your redesign and we'll critique it :-)

One more thing, we have a variety of user documentation for abiword.
We'd like to be to make these available from the site as well.

Cheers

Martin
