AbiWord v2.8.5 Released
AbiWord 2.8 is a multi-platform, collaborative word processor that
combines state-of-the-art usability, powerful features, and excellent
interoperability. Furthermore, it features a powerful framework for
supporting custom extensions. AbiWord v2.8.5 is the latest stable
release, which includes improved OpenDocument and MS Write filter
support, some nice robustness fixes and translation updates.
This release includes the following changes (and more!):
* Significant OpenDocument filter improvements
* Fix a potential crash when more than 2 people are collaborating on a
document and one of the collaborators disconnects
* Improved MS Write filter support
