Hi, I am new to the list. This is my first message. First off, a warm
thank you to maintainers of Abiword. I have discovered Abiword through
Gnumeric (My distribution -- Fedora 13 LXDE, in English -- features
these software as the default office applications). I start to like
Abiword as much as I like Gnumeric.
There is a dark note to this nice picture. I am an expatriate living in
Japan and Abiword currently does not handle i-bus input (Asian
languages) correctly.
I have reported the bug on my distribution bug tracking website:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=648773
I got lucky to have some feedback. Followed some comments on the
abiword bug tracker:
http://bugzilla.abisource.com/show_bug.cgi?id=10756
This is the excerpt of my conversation on the #abiword channel with
jean:

I have the single perspective (and the obvious lack of knowledge) of an
end-user. So I call the developer list for some advice or guidance
regarding this problem.
Thank you,
nomnex
