hi Martin, n.p.. How do bugs attribution work? Are you going to be the
only one assigned to this bug, or any abiword dev. can work on it and
propose his code?

On my side, I thank you for you answer and for the time you will spend
troubleshooting the issue. I have read (if not all, most) of the bug
reports since 2005. On the bright side, they have shifted along the
years from 'NO input at all', to a 'direct input in a tiny window
beneath the Abiword window'.

I have to use another word-processor for Japanese input in the
meantime, but I will be present on the #abiword IRC channel. If you
don't mind giving me an update when you begin working on it, I could
follow up with the development.
