I know that this is a bit off the beaten track, but I recently brought
in a suggestion to create ePub export functionality. While this may not
be an obvious choice, it would make Abiword the only such application
able to generate ebooks without any external tools. Just a thought, and
it does not seem to far off from the Abiword native format.
Having said that, the flickering aspect and the Mac port seem like very
important and frequently-commented points, so that does deserve some
work.
