Is it correct to assume that a Gnome 3-based distribution will be based
on GTK3?
Xfce will remain GTK2 until after the 4.10 series
(http://wiki.xfce.org/releng/4.10/roadmap#dependencies_fixed_after_2011-01-25).
Also, we must assume that for quite some time, there will be a
transition where a GTK2-based distribution will use GTK3-based apps and
pull them in as additional deps, and vice versa. Not sure how it will
affect Windows users, though.
