it looks like there's a problem with one of the -I...'s
in your view. when i changed the makefiles from 3 passes
to 1 pass, i added a bunch of -I...'s in src/config/abi_defs.mk
(rather than copy all of the .h's into a common dist directory).

could you verify that the stuff in src/config is up-to-date.

let me know if this doesn't fix the problem.
