We'll be in booth 1121, showing off the latest release of AbiWord running on
a bunch of different platforms -- I think we may even have an iMac this time
-- and selling CDs and T-Shirts.
If you're anywhere in the Bay Area, be sure to stop by the booth and
introduce yourself. One of the (few) disadvantages of the Open Source
development model is that so much work happens electronically that we have
to make extra efforts to actually meet everyone in person.
For the rest of the world-wide AbiWord community, things should be pretty
much business as usual this week. Not everyone can get to California, so
expect the list traffic and CVS checkins to keep moving forward, too.
Enjoy!
Paul
PS: Anybody with good ideas about how to (legally) stuff the "Show
Favorites" ballot box, please speak up!

We're in the running this time for the "Productivity Application/Suite"
category, which was won last March by Applix. Perhaps I spent too much time
living in Chicago, but the phrase "vote early and often" keeps bouncing
around my brain. :-)
