libwmf v 0.1.0 is ready for action, the wondrous standalone
wmf decoder library.

http://www.csn.ul.ie/~caolan/docs/libwmf.html

the X binding works for 80+% of wmf files that i scrounged out of
a win 3.1 version of msword and msworks. the gif binding currently
looks good for everything except text and rounded rectangles.

it doesnt work with emf files (32bit wmf files) and has some problems
with clipping rectangles and one or two other things, but it works
most of the time.

im looking for someone with some interest in creating eps and/or fig
bindings to the lib, i dont have any docs written yet, but you should
get the feel for it by looking at the two usage examples for X and
the gd gif library.

it (as usual) leaks memory like a sieve, might fall over regularly and
is known to loiter on dark street corners, but ill have it solid in the
next release.

you might like to give it a run over any wmf files you might have
stashed away under windows and see does it do anything spectacular.

(note to mswordview list)
once this works i'll add it onto mswordview and see about supported emf
files as well.

(note to abiword list)
someone might like to add a c++ wrapper to this for importation into
abiword maybe, might be of interest to you anyhow ?
