i just checked in a batch of changes for the clipboard.
on win32, we now copy and paste in plain text and RTF
formats.

on unix & beos we still do nothing.

our copy code still copies the entire document rather than
just the selection. :-) hey, it's progress...i didn't say
it was useful (yet) ...
