I have a patched version of the code for earlier GTK 1.2 (and probably
late 1.1) versions ready to commit, but I haven't been able to test it, as
I'm at work (it does compile, however). Also, I caught one mistake
(minor, I believe) in my code, too. I can test it in about a half hour
against 1.2.3, and then I'll commit it for you to test against your
setup.

Also, it's possible that you need to do a full rebuild. I had problems
with the clipboard stuff early in its development last night, which 'make
realclean; make' fixed. I forgot to mention that. But before you rebuild
it, let me try out this patch.
