Just for reference, I was running on the linux.

Also, try typing a few (n) characters then hitting backspaces n+1 times, then
enter. I was getting some cores this way as well.

I noticed that when changing a word and inserting a space (creating two
words), can fail if there are multiple non-alpha characters towards the end.

I've not submitted a bug report yet because I've not been able to identify
exactly what's happening.
