quick comments

at the bottom of the page there are no spaces between some of the items
Top PageAboutTutorialHow ToShortcutsMenusToolbarsReferenceProblemsIndex
GNU FDL

the source code has no line windows line breaks (you-know-what-i-mean),
a minor annoyance but i know the other way annoys some linux users

Netscape 4.7
i put the file in another directory without the stylesheet and netscape
did not choke (it usually does if the stylesheet it absent)
++ the page works perfectly well without the stylesheet

with the style sheet
the text at the top of the screen is white on black, as is the bit at
the bottom (top bit left aligned, bottom centered)
(incidentally this can also be acheived by using a table and changing
the cell color)
the text body is indented about an inch
(incidentally this can also be acheived by using blockquote tags, but
that would be semantically (?) incorrect)

IE 5.5
the white on black text, has the black almost as wide as the whole
screen and about the 3 times the text height
(in Netscape 4.7 it was fit to the text size, ie exactly the same size
as if you had selected the text)

(<strike>attached</strike> this machine is f***ed up, and nightly
Abiword HTML export loses Images so i cannot convert to png ill just
link to the bitmap instead )
http://www.maths.tcd.ie/~horkana/untitled.bmp (ill leave i there for
only about a week or two)
Linked is a monochrome screenshot of what it looks like in the Mozilla
nightly im using but this nightly build is funkier (s/funkier/buggier)
than usual. It does not look good. The footer gets mushed up to the top.

i dont have Opera

Sincerely
Alan
