FYI, you might (through luck that might not last; many random things
you can't control) be able to resolve "parsons.abisource.com", which
is the "real" name of the CVS host. Failing that, it's IP address is
206.185.0.93.

Looks like the DNS entries for abisource.com are slightly whacked.
The two InterNIC-registered servers have different ideas about SOA and
NS records for the domain. There are lots of boring DNS details, but
it all boils down to different paths can lead you to believe you
should talk to one of the following addresses to resolve abisource.com
addresses (these are all different claimed locations for
"ns1.sourcegear.com"):

65.161.114.8 ;; gives good answers but doesn't claim authority
        65.161.114.12 ;; topquark's idea of ns1.sourcegear.com
        65.161.114.14 ;; postman's idea of ns0 and ns1.sourcegear.com

No amount of waiting for caches to update will help fix this problem.
Someone who can edit abisource.com DNS data and/or talk to the owners
of the various authoritative servers must act to clear this. (I note
in passing that the serial number for the data implies a change on 9
March 2001, which may be stale but may or may not contribute to this
problem. Could be preventing a secondary from picking up a zone
transfer.)

If you happen to hit either of the first two, you'll probably get the
right answer. If you happen to hit the 3rd, you'll either get a DNS
"servfail" or a timeout (depending on even more boring DNS things).
