UPX to compact executable?

    Has anyone given thought to using UPX ( http://upx.sourceforce.net ) to
    compact the AbiWord executable before packaging the binary
    distribution?

    I've tried it on Windows. The results are great, and the size of the
    installed AbiWord.exe file is cut in half.

    Anyhow, just thought I'd mention it.
