And, in fact, if we think in terms of AbiShow there are three modes:

1. static display for document images - embedded object + SVG preview
2. edit mode - image and/or presentation creation
3. dynamic presentation - JavaScript animation etc.

Done properly, an SVG image in an AbiWord document is an embedded object
with itself as preview...
