New gimp plugin. Edit your images in abiword with the gimp!
With this plugin you can edit images within abiword using the gimp.
To use it:
1. Select the image you want to edit.
2. Select "Edit Image" for the tools menu.
The gimp starts with your image in it.
Edit the image as you wish. When you want to see what it looks like choose
"save" and the image will be replaced in abiword with the gimpified
version.
Keep editting with the gimp until your happy, then close the gimp and
return to AbiWord.
Some issues that need fixing. For some strange reason the first time you
save in abiword abiword crashes :-(
The second and every other time works though....
The "Edit Image" menu should go into the ImageConext menu.
The plugin has a brain dead Makefile that I hope fjf will replace with
one that works nicely with the AutoConf builds he has for plugins.
You'll have to change the SRCS variable to get it to build...
Other stuff I'm sure you'll find out.
Feel free to offer patch or commit fixes.
I'm off to bed.
Enjoy our new Feature :-)
Cheers
Martin
