    First, change your name. Your name is not "AbiWord,"
    and that is a trademarked and copyrighted name.

    Secondly, fix your caps lock or shift key.

    Thirdly, Insert/Overwrite mode has been around since
    personal computers came out 25 years ago. There are
    insert/overwrite notifications in the status bar. It
    is wrong for us to pop up a dialog or any intrusive
    notification if you enter into overwrite mode. No
    other major piece of software (especially those we are
    trying to emulate and compete with) display this
    behavior.

    I suggest people learn how to use their machines, or
    if this really bugs you, propose some change to the
    GNOME HIG or Usability Group. We might be more
    receptive to them.
