    None of it is "nicer for translators", but I think there is no reason
    two have TWO files that actually do the same. In fact, it is nicer for
    translators to have ONE file instead of TWO, one being installed for RPM
    distros and one for others.

    Uhm we have to files that both do the same - provide a menu entry for
    .desktop aware DEs. Why shouldn't we remove one of it?
    That's what my initial proposal was all about.
