That is why I said: (...) general discussion.
In what it relates to AbiWord development, it is my opinion that we
should be actively aware of these issues.
But those kinds of issues are very general, and not best suited for this
mailing list, when there are much better ones for that effect, like
patents_at_aful.org for instance, where you have many intelligent people
and much better informed to help clear anyone's doubts.
