mingw windows build

Hello everybody,

I'm doing a MinGW/msys build of abiword from a fresh CVS anoncvs
checkout. I have checked-out these: abi abidistfiles expat fribidi
libiconv libpng wv zlib.

My build procedure is:

cd /c/abiword/abi
make

But at some point I get this error:

make[5]: Entering directory `/c/abiword/wv'
make[5]: Makefile.abi: No such file or directory
make[5]: *** No rule to make target `Makefile.abi'. Stop.
make[5]: Leaving directory `/c/abiword/wv'
make[4]: *** [_LIBWV_] Error 2
make[4]: Leaving directory `/c/abiword/abi/src/config/require/win'
make[3]: *** [build] Error 2
make[3]: Leaving directory `/c/abiword/abi/src/config/require'
make[2]: *** [build] Error 2
make[2]: Leaving directory `/c/abiword/abi/src/config'
make[1]: *** [build] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/c/abiword/abi/src'

The missing file, wv/Makefile.abi, was removed from CVS.

What should I do in this situation: add back the Makefile.abi from the
Attic? or is there a different build procedure that I should use with MinGW?

Thanks,
Mihai Preda
