        A good place to start then, if you've already got something based on Poppler, is to use the new HTML export capabilities that were added there a few months ago. It supports limited font, style and color extraction as well as links and such. Since Abi has some basic HTML import, you could bring it in that way - or look at leverage the same underlying "Output Device" to bring in RTF directly to Abi.
