Well,

"MicroSoft Word" (is it really "MicroSoft" or just "Microsoft") is not
"a free Word Processor", which could in a way be suggested by this
text (I know mostly it will be read the way you intended it, but it
can also be read the other way by some non-native readers).

Why is "Word Processor" with capital letters? Is that a brand or something?

Also, why mention just Word and not OpenOffice.org Writer? Well, most
people know Word, I understand.

Also, why not mention its lightweightness, portability (as in portable
versions) and cross-platformness (although there is still no OSX
build)? OK, that are not the most important features, I know.

Here is my updated suggestion:
"AbiWord is a lightweight open source word processor with features
like Microsoft Word. However AbiWord also enables concurrent work on
the same document by several users with the free abicollab.net
service."

And a slogan or undertitle: "The real-time collaborative word processor"
