"Insert equation from Latex" unable to recognise \Omega
I don't know if the bug is in gtkmathview or in itex=> mathml
conversion. If the latter then fixing this bug now will also fix it
for your project.
If you can isolate which system is responsible for the bug is would be
a nice step forward.
BTW This bug has caused me quite a bit of grief but I haven't had time
to fix it :-(
