As long as you're updating things... here's a way to do the CVS stuff w/o
having to set an environmnet variable (at least for Linux)

cvs -d :pserver:anoncvs@cvs.abisource.com:/u2/cvsroot login
enter password of anoncvs
cvs -d :pserver:anoncvs@cvs.abisource.com:/u2/cvsroot checkout abi
cvs -d :pserver:anoncvs@cvs.abisource.com:/u2/cvsroot checkout expat
