It seemed to work but I think I found an odd bug in the fixed view
code. If you do a double click, drag right, then back left slowly
across the word, everything is fine. If you whip the drag back and
forth very quickly it seems the getPoint() is sometimes putting the
selection anchors at just random places. :) This doesn't happen
with the unpatched code.

Just create a new document with the text:

"This is a sentence with some words, each word is not like the other."

Double-click and drag on "words" and whip back and forth to both
sides of the line. For me, sometimes the selection advances forward
and backward a few words. :) If you've got multiple paragraphs
of text you can even jump lines.
