Bug Cluster - Editing problems related to spell check

Some of the recent changes in the spell checker have caused some fairly
obvious editing problems. Paul will get these, but probably not until
early next week. If anybody else wants to jump on these, they all stem
from the same area of code in fl_BlockLayout that was added post 0.7.6.

616 Changing font size or face crashes for blank documents
617 AbiWord asserts when making a selection whose right border is a
recently added space
618 Pasting the same text twice into a blank document crashes AbiWord
619 Entering text that includes a return crashes AbiWord
