AbiWord v2.2.8 Released

This release has seen a lot of bugfixes, polish, and cleanups as we are nearing the end of the 2.2 release cycle. We are working hard towards AbiWord v2.4, which is shaping up nicely.

This release is mostly a bugfix release, with some minor new features. The changes from 2.2.7 to 2.2.8 include, amongst others:

All users are advised to upgrade to this new release. Windows users are advised to uninstall older versions first, and to make sure there are no files left behind[1].

[1] The default installation location is "c:\Program Files\AbiSuite2". Please remove it completely to make sure no old plugins are left in place. Make sure you don't accidentally delete your important documents that you might have stored there.
