YES YES YES.

To the best of my knowledge, AbiWord is the most cross platform WYSIWYG
word processor *ever written*. This is it's most significant feature, and
something that was designed into it from the beginning. Whatever we do
should not disrupt that.

This doesn't mean that all the platforms have to have the same feature set
all the time. But what it does mean is that we shouldn't implement
features that will break our XP compatibility.
