    If you want to build rpms, I suggest downloading the src.rpm from
    http://savannah.gnu.org/download/abiword/0.99.2/SRPMS

    It has all the source needed to build the rpms.

    Martin's mail, more recently, may suggest what your problem was: it
    seems that the source for the plugins was not in the .tar.gz released.
