No! Definately not in its current form.

I'm suprised Frank missed it but at the time we discussed quite how
annoying this behaviour which Microsoft Word implemented really was.
There are many fonts that are not clear when displayed using their own
font.

The font preview approach works nicely, I'd certainly like to keep it in
addition to any other sort of preview.

Another approach it to print both the font name and then print it again
right after using its own font the second time (I think Pages from Apple
does this, saw it somewhere recently).

Why do I keep having to be the Devils Advocate? It is frustrating being
critical so often. Maybe everyone else has already forgotten how annoying
Microsoft Word was but I suppose it is better that I remind people of
these old issues rather than wait for their inevitable appearance as
vague requests in bugzilla.

Sincerely

Alan Horkan
